To help you get to know Andra a little better, we sat down with her to learn more about her journey and what she brings to the table. Here’s what she had to say… 

Tell us about your background and what inspired you to join our team? 

“My passion for business began early on. I was involved in my family’s business from my college years. Experiencing firsthand the challenges and triumphs of running a business motivated me to pursue a career in finance and business management.” 

“This early exposure fuelled my desire to help others navigate the complex world of business ownership. My dream, to help entrepreneurs navigate unstable environments and build successful ventures – which naturally led me to become a CMC Business Adviser.” 

What unique skills and expertise can you offer your clients and the local community? 

“I bring a diverse set of experiences and qualifications to the table. I’ve worn many hats throughout my career, including co-director in my family’s business, financial manager and auditor.” 

“In addition to my practical experience, I hold several key certifications, including Certified Financial Accountant (FCCA) and Certified Project Manager (Prince2). This combination allows me to offer clients comprehensive business advice, tailored to their specific needs. 

“On a more personal note, I’m also a fitness coach and have studied psychology. This enables me to understand people on a more personal level and build sustainable relationships, tailoring my business advice to take into account personal circumstances that may have implications for their businesses.” 

What sets you apart from other business consultants? 

“There are a few things that make me unique. Firstly, I’m not just a consultant – I’ve actually lived the life of a business owner as co-director in my family’s business. I’ve also been a financial manager and an auditor within reputable, multi-national companies including Deloitte and Societe Generale.” This combination of practical experience and financial expertise allows me to help businesses develop realistic growth plans that are grounded in real financial data.” 

Can you share a success story where your expertise made a real difference? 

“Absolutely! I worked with a mobile app company owner who was looking to attract investment. I helped them by preparing a comprehensive analysis that covered everything from sales and margins to capital expenditures and working capital. I also developed a detailed budget that incorporated a realistic vision for the next three years. As a result of this work, the company was not only able to attract the investment they needed, but the owner was also able to successfully exit the business.” 

Looking ahead, what are your goals for continued growth and how will that benefit your clients? 

“I’m always looking for ways to improve my expertise and stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and best practices. I also want to expand my network and build even stronger relationships with my clients so I can truly understand their needs and provide them with the most tailored solutions possible.”
